As a web developer, I have often made sites for other people. I’m going to attempt to make a site to showcase what I’ve been up to my entire life. It will be challenging.
As a career change opportunity to get out of full time photography work, I accepted a job with Matterport to provide support to Enterprise customers and developers. This opportunity allowed me to skill-build and learn GraphQL, Three.js, React, Next.js and to contribute to our technical documentation and work cross-functionally with teams, committing code to various projects.
After building a successful company and finding an incredible business partner, I made a career shift for a better work/life balance and so that I could get back behind a computer and start to learn and build again!
What began as a series of experiments with building features on Matterport's platform such as creating a minimap, adding text-to-speech and using CSS3 Filters to allow color enhancements ended as a commercial SAAS platform with a userbase of over 400 customers!
Prior to the global pandemic, Metroplex 360 secured large contracts with Zillow, 149 Photos and several large multi-family management companies. The company was reincorprated as a joint venture bringing Hayley Davidson on board as my business partner. With the global pandemic, the demand for our services increased exponentially, establishing new relationships and driving us to build a large team operating in multiple markets throughout Texas and expanding our service offerings.
