Little Chateau del Mexico
Puerto Vallarta called and says that you're late
Let's not miss the curfew this time.

Let's go to our village where the palm trees grow
In our little chateau down in Mexico

From our taxi to the streets, hail a Bloody Mary
Before the tequila sunrise

Comes up from the sea; We'll bask in the warmth
Of the pacific breeze

Protected from the sun; By a pair of palms
We'll dance on the shore

Of this golden beach; Later we'll dine with cervesa and wine
In the sand we'll put a sign --

It says:
This is our chateau del Mexico.
There's nowhere I'd rather be.
In our little chateau del Mexico.

You can have your chimichangas
Empanadas, tostadas,
You can find them at the grocery store.

But you can't shrink wrap the sun
Serve it up in a tortilla
The salt water will free ya,

Today I went swimming
With a turtle who
Felt it too, it's what I'm telling you

It's a tropical place
Where the ocean is blue
And there's a sign that says:

It says:
This is our chateau del Mexico.
There's nowhere I'd rather be.
In our little chateau del Mexico.
